The Job

As a Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales and marketing team. 

Initially, you will need to understand the business, the services and systems, the clients, and the current operation. Referring directly to the CEO, who is the founder and owner of the company, you will produce a global growth plan, including sales and marketing strategy and related budgets. When approved, you will executive the plan and report directly to the CEO. Your will ensure that PJ Diesel expands its customer base and that existing customers are serviced in the best way possible. Since you will be responsible for global growth, traveling must be expected.

• • A relevant commercial or technical education
  • People manager experience
  • Experience with technical sales in the maritime industry

• Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills

• Know how to develop a sales strategy and execute on it
• Used to work with data and know how to segment a market
• Experience with both direct sales and sales through partners
• Maritime exhibition experience
• Strong maritime industry network
• Deep understanding of the maritime transport value chain
